Most of you don’t yet know that Jeff is branching out to provide video services! I’ll have many, many more details about this coming soon. For now, though, we wanted to share with you some fun spur-of-the-moment footage of what a photo shoot looks like with me! This was our very first attempt at taking video with some sweet new equipment… so what you’re seeing here is basically like the newborn baby equivalent of videography. 
Still, I think it’s pretty fun. And we know that in order to improve and learn and grow, we have to share our work with the people around us (just like I did with photography!).
You’ll see photos of the sweetest video gear on Jeff in this film — he’s wearing his new Steadicam, which basically allows him to make smooth movements and create more cinematic video than if he was just doing hand-held video. It’s really amazing technology, and of course, we’re just getting started with it — but I have no doubts that Jeff is going to blow us all away with his video skills! Anyway, more on all of this is coming soon. We’re just giving ericamay readers a special sneak peek with this video/photo combo.
Our photographer friends Jon and Emily with Beaty Photography agreed to be test subjects for us, and they did an awesome job!
One of my favorite parts is when Jon is running and Jeff is running alongside him with the video gear strapped on — usually, if someone were running with a video camera, it would be all shaky and all over the place. I love how smooth and gliding the footage is… so pay attention for that part!
