Luke and Erika’s engagement session at her parents’ home near De Soto, Kansas, was rainy — but perfect for the setting. I loved how the rain and clouds gave the photos an extra romantic feel. The location was beautiful and the people couldn’t be more cute, sweet, and awesome. Especially when they were in the rain for pretty much their entire session. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to photograph them together.

They had just picked up their wedding bands from Tiffany’s… wrapped perfectly in their Tiffany’s boxes!
We walked into the woods on the property, where there was all sorts of natural beauty — including these natural stone walls cut out of the earth.
