I don’t even know where to begin talking about Jen and Mike. These two are awesome. Jeff and I have had a lot of fun getting to know them — over bubble tea and Asian dumplings at Blue Koi, root beer and macaroni and cheese at McCoy’s (okay, I’m the only one who ordered macaroni and cheese!), and who knows what else to come.
If there’s one thing I know after spending even just a little bit of time with them, is that they love each other and know how to have fun together. Their engagement session captured all of that, and it was perfect.
Jen and Mike’s first date was at the Nelson-Atkins museum, and it’s also the location he proposed. So, it was natural that they wanted to have their engagement photos taken there, too! Here are just a few of my favorites from their morning engagement session.

I love their expressions in the next two. I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, so you get to see them both. Jen, seriously, stop being so cute!

Then we walked a few feet to the new addition, the Bloch Building for an entirely new look to the images. I love it!

Jen and Mike, I can’t tell you how I excited I am for your wedding in September. And for more bonding over our shared love for Little House on the Prairie in the meantime.
