Imagine this: two 18-year-old girls, working at a daycare center for the summer before heading off to college. It was one of the most interesting jobs ever, and one of the girls (me) had to send all of my unruly children into the other girl’s (Jessie’s) classroom for nap time. It’s a wonder she ever talked to me. Fast forward to mid-August, move-in day at the K-State residence halls. Who ends up on the same floor? Yep, Jessie and Erica.
It’s so fun for me to photograph people who I’ve known for quite a while, and even more fun to see my friends find someone who makes them smile. Jessie and Rick were so much fun during their engagement session in Lawrence (where they’re both in school now). They had a lot of cute photos to choose from, but here are just a few:

We took a few images (quietly) in the library. The next one goes out to Jessie’s mom!

I think Jessie’s hair blowing in the wind looks romantic… it was a very windy day!

The ring (is beautiful):

Yes, ladies and gentleman… we had a tandem bicycle.
Rick is an avid biker, so we had to include a few images!

This one melts my heart.

And we’ll end with the white picket fence!

Jessie and Rick, I can’t wait for your wedding in August! It’s going to be amazing!
